Resisting officers leads to charges

A Dubach man is in custody after he allegedly attempted to resist officers serving several arrest warrants.

Lincoln Parish deputies went to a Hico Loop Road residence on Friday to serve three warrants on Travis J. Humble, 43.

The owner of the residence allowed deputies into the home where they found Humble hiding in a bathroom. After giving numerous commands to Humble to exit the bathroom and surrender, deputies entered and used minimal force to take him into custody.

Humble was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for bench warrants for resisting an officer, simple battery, and false imprisonment. No information was immediately available on the incident leading to those charges.

Humble was also booked on an additional charge of resisting an officer at the time of arrest.

Bail was set at $18,500.
