An altercation inside a West California restaurant involving a former employee led to her arrest late Thursday night.
Ruston Police were called to Taco Bell regarding a disturbance and were told Alexis Lee, 21, had been terminated and became angry and started an altercation with an employee. A second employee stepped between them, but Lee allegedly reached around her and pushed the victim.
Lee left the restaurant, and the victim followed her outside to obtain her license plate on video. Lee allegedly approached and took the victim’s phone by force and threw it on the ground and left. The victim told police she feared for her life due to Lee’s aggressive manner.
Police were given the license plate number and tracked it to a Sybil Drive address. Lee was located and under questioning admitted taking the phone because she did not like being videoed. She was arrested for simple robbery and failure to appear in court on charges of speeding, running a red light, and no driver’s license.
Bail was set at $8,500.
