Grambling Police arrested a man Saturday in connection with an altercation involving a firearm at a local convenience store Friday.
After the incident at Roger’s Mini Mart on R.W.E. Jones Street Friday, GPD officers viewed surveillance video from the store. The video showed several men fighting. During the fight, Trimell Javon Carey, 21, of New Orleans, was seen pulling a handgun out of a Chevrolet Camaro and pointing it at four other individuals, causing them to run.
Carey appeared at GPD Saturday where he was positively identified as the person with the gun in the video. He was arrested and taken to the Lincoln Parish Detention Center and booked for four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm.
Bail was set at $20,000.
