A Ruston woman was arrested early Sunday morning after officers answered a call reporting a disturbance at the Northern Louisiana Medical Center.
Ruston officers responded to the emergency room about 3 a.m. where they found a man and woman outside the emergency room had been causing a disturbance. The female identified herself as Aimee Williams, born in 1985. When the state records computer did not identify anyone by this name, the woman said her name was Aimee Greer and eventually identified herself as Aimee Creech, born 1986.
A check indicated Creech was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in Ruston City Court on a disturbing the peace charge. During a search, controlled substances were found in her front pocket.
Creech was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for possession of controlled substances, resisting an officer by providing false information, and the warrant. Bail was set at $4,500.
