An Arcadia man was arrested early Wednesday after a Lincoln Parish deputy investigated scavenging a parish dumpster site.
About 2:00 a.m. Wednesday, a deputy saw a man scavenging through a dumpster on La. Highway 146 at Highway 545. A second man was seated in a car and the deputy saw a “bong” used to smoke drugs on the center console. A check indicated a possible warrant for the man, but it was found to be inactive.
A search of the car located a bag of suspected methamphetamine and two glass smoking pipes containing residue. Channing R. Winzer, 37, was arrested and booked for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bail was set at $7,500.
