A Ruston man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly threatened to kill several people with a shotgun.
Ruston Police responded to an East Colorado Avenue residence Sunday afternoon regarding an assault. Officers were told an argument broke out between Chris Williams, 48, and his nephew over a missing handgun. The victims jumped between them to intervene.
Williams allegedly went to his room, retrieved a 12-gauge shotgun, pointed it at the victims, and said, “I’ll kill all y’all.”
Williams refused to make a statement to officers. He was arrested for two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center.
Bail was set at $30,000.
