The Louisiana Tech Track & Field team placed two student-athletes on the 2022-2023 College Sports Communicator’s Academic All-District Track & Field Teams, announced by the organization Wednesday. 

DaLoria Boone and Jacquelin LaBerteaux were named and will advance to the ballot for the CSC Academic All-America teams, which will be made of first, second, and third teams. The CSC All-American teams will be announced on June 29.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Men’s Track & Field / Cross Country Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a start or key reserve with at least a 3.50 GPA.
