Carol Elizabeth Neal Roberts

A celebration of life honoring Carol Elizabeth Neal Roberts will be held from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023, at The Springs Church, 1601 S. Barnett Springs Ave. in Ruston. Carol passed away Monday, June 5, 2023. She was 71.
Carol was born Dec. 23, 1951, to Gilbert and Mildred Neal, who both preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Michael Kyle Roberts (wife Judith, daughters Alice and Penny) and Brian Patrick Roberts.
She is also survived by siblings Jayne Claire Boudreaux (husband A.J., son Randy and wife Lindsey) and Oliver Kenneth Harper (wife Rachel, daughter Bonnie and husband Shawn).
Carol and her family grew up in Baton Rouge but moved to Ruston during her high school years and graduated from Ruston High School. She served as a special education teacher in the Lincoln, Bienville and Union Parish school systems for more than 20 years.
She loved her granddaughters, her children and her friends and enjoyed shopping and teaching.
The family would like to give specific thanks to the Princeton Place staff for their care and concern for Carol during her last year of life.
