Woman charged with abusing teen

The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested a 32-year-old woman last Friday after she allegedly struck a 13-year-old in the face.

A deputy interviewed the child who said she was struck in the face and hit with a board. The deputy observed an injury to her lip and bruises and marks on her face and arm.

The woman, Quiatalla R. Daniels, could not be located at home but she later called the sheriff’s office. She was asked to report to the sheriff’s office. During an interview, Daniels said noticed items moved in her room and cash missing. She confronted the child and said she hit her in the face multiple times to discipline her.

Daniels was arrested for domestic abuse battery and for a warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of improper supervision of a minor by a parent.
