For parents who have not registered their pre-kindergarten or kindergarten student for school, Lincoln Parish Schools is having a ‘Pop In and Register’ event Friday, August 4.

Parents can register their child at Lincoln Parish Early Childhood Center, Choudrant, Dubach, Glen View, Hillcrest or Simsboro Elementary for the 2023-2024 school year.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Parents need to bring the following documents to register their child(ren): birth certificate, social security card, up-to-date immunization certificate in Louisiana format, and proof of permanent residence in Lincoln Parish with two bills in the parent’s name. For pre-k students only, parents also need to bring proof of income. 

Families unable to attend the pop in event can also register at the School Board office or visit https://jgrades.lincolnschools.org/register/ to register for pre-k and kindergarten.
