Louisiana Tech cross country head coach Brian Johnson announced the team’s four-meet regular-season schedule featuring a home meet.
“I am excited for this upcoming season,” head coach Brian Johnson said. “We are in year two and are looking to build off last season. We are looking for our returners to continue to improve on their solid performances. Our recruits are on campus, and everyone pushes each other to improve. We have our first meet next week and look forward to starting the season.”
LA Tech opens the season with a trip down I20 for the ULM Warhawk XC Festival on Sept. 16. The final meet of September will take place in Lake Charles, La., for the McNeese Stampede on Sept. 23.
October opens with the Bulldogs hosting the Mook 4 Invitational on Oct. 7. The regular season closes with a trip to Clinton, Miss., for the Watson Collegiate Classic hosted by Mississippi College.
The postseason kicks off with the Conference USA Championships in Bowling Green, Ky., on Oct. 28. The NCAA South Central Regional will be held in Fayetteville, Ark., on Nov. 10, with the NCAA Championships on Nov. 18 in Charlottesville, Va.
