Graveside Services for Martha Jean Robinson Fisher, age 85, of Ruston, will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 09, 2023. Officiating will be Dr. Dwight Munn, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
Martha Fisher was born April 30, 1938, in Ruston, LA, to Victor Vernice and Tamar Ruth (Whatley) Robinson and passed away on September 5, 2023, in Ruston. She graduated from Ruston High School and would put her skills to work at Central Bank as a member of management. Martha was faithful to First Baptist Church of West Monroe, through television ministry, and giving. She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor Vernice and Tamar “Ruth” Robinson; her sisters, Ella Ruth Robinson Johnston, and Janice Marie Robinson Rodrigues; and her son, Phillip David Giles.
She is survived by her sister, Peggy Robinson Bain; her children, Marcia Giles Adams and husband Andrew John, and Jodi Giles Wheelis and husband Wesley Blake; grandchildren, Wesley Blake Wheelis, Jr, and Whitney Beth Wheelis Frick and husband, Ryan Joseph; great grandchildren, Wells Robert Wheelis and Palmer Marie Wheelis; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
