The city of Ruston has announced that Bernard Street at Eastland Avenue will be closed to through traffic starting today at 7 a.m. until further notice — weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to replace the cross drain at Eastland Avenue.

The City of Ruston regrets any inconvenience this necessary work may cause residents and motorists and appreciates residents’ and drivers’ pateince.
