Students arrested for campus marijuana possession

Two Grambling State University students were arrested last Tuesday after a campus housing official discovered in their dormitory room.

A housing area coordinator told GSU Police he found a plate of marijuana sitting in the common area of a dorm room in Holland Hall Tuesday afternoon.


Dey’Mani M. Harris, 18, Vallejo, California told police the marijuana belonged to him and his roommates. A search located over 83 grams of marijuana inside a book bag belonging to Stephon Rashad Zeno Carminer, 19, of Oakland, California.

Harris and Carmine were both arrested and booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for possession of marijuana.

Bail was set at $10,000 each.
