Simsboro and Choudrant dominated the District 2-B boys basketball season.
And the Tigers and Panthers dominate the all-district team, too.
Choudrant and Simsboro combined to claim 11 out of 15 spots, including a sweep of first-team accolades.
Tigers coach Adam Wodach was named District 2-B Coach of the Year after leading his team to the Division IV Nonselect School quarterfinals in his first season at Simsboro.
Choudrant senior forward Michael Jones earned district Most Valuable Player honors after helping the Aggies to the second round of the Division IV Nonselect School boys playoffs, averaging 25.6 points, 12.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
Joining Jones on the All-District 2-B first team are Choudrant sophomore guard Carson Carrico (10.3 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 1.3 spg and 3.0 apg); Simsboro guard Jakeleb Modest (13.2 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 3.3 spg and 2.3 apg); Simsboro senior guard Itavus Brown (18.7 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 3.3 spg and 2.3 apg); and Simsboro guard Ahmad Smith, an eighth-grader (13.1 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 3.2 spg and 1.7 apg.).
