Man brandishing gun at other motorists arrested

An Arkansas man was arrested near Ruston last Monday after he allegedly brandished a firearm at other motorists Monday morning.

Bobby Justus Brazier, 25, of Crossett, Arkansas, was arrested about 9 a.m. Monday for aggravated assault and reckless operation of a vehicle.

The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office received information from the Union Parish Sheriff’s Office that a white truck was traveling south on La. Highway 33 at a high rate of speed brandishing a firearm at other vehicles.

A LPSO deputy spotted a vehicle matching the description and stopped it near Stuckey Road.

Brazier admitted there was a firearm in the center console in the truck.

The deputy retrieved the gun. UPSO said they had charges on Brazier. He was arrested and turned over to Union Parish deputies.
