Lincoln Parish Sheriff Stephen Williams announced a couple of promotions within the department in June as Payden Ayers and Jake Watts earned the advancement.
Payden Ayers was promoted from deputy to sergeant after eight years of service within the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s office in August.
Jake Watts was promoted from sergeant to lieutenant after eight years of service as well.
