A Monroe man was arrested July 3 after the Grambling police officer who stopped him discovered he was wanted on several charges.
Carlton C. Banner, 39, was stopped about 4:30 a.m. for failure to use his turn signal. A records check indicated Banner was wanted by Grambling Police in connection with a case earlier this year.
Banner was arrested on three warrants and booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for criminal damage to property, hit and run, and improper (harassing) telephone communications.
Since the case was domestic related and required a court hearing, Bonner’s bail amount was not immediately available.
