Narcotics officers arrested a Ruston woman last Wednesday while investigating reported drug use at an abandoned house.
Officers of the Lincoln Parish Narcotics Enforcement Team responded to a house on Union Avenue where they found several people inside. In identifying the occupants, they learned Lametria L. Owens, 23, was wanted on two warrants for failure to appear in Third District Court.
Owens was arrested and searched. A coin purse was found containing a small amount of suspected methamphetamine. She was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for possession of methamphetamine and the two warrants. She is also being held on a probation violation.
