Ruston High School would like to introduce the 2024-2025 Homecoming Court.
Freshman maids are Alyessia Beasley and Kate Davis. Alyessia is the daughter of Rachel Beasley and Stephen Smith. Kate is the daughter of Tori Davis and Elvin Easter. Kate’s grandfather Derrick Stringfellow is a graduate of the Ruston High Class of 1974.
Sophomore maids are Harper Anderson and Jane Ramsey. Harper is the daughter of Jennifer and Jason Sellers and the late Topher Anderson. Harper’s mom is a graduate of the RHS class of 1997, her grandmother Lisa Shealy Mangum is a graduate of the RHS Class of 1977, and her great-grandfather John Carmack Shealy, who played football for Hoss Garrett, is a graduate of the RHS class of 1945. Jane’s parents are Ginny and Patrick Ramsey. Jane comes from a long line of Bearcats as her sister Ellen is an RHS Class of 2024 graduate, and her dad is a graduate of the RHS Class of 1997. Her grandfather Danny Graham graduated from RHS in 1971, her grandmother Kate Holstead Graham graduated from RHS in 1972, and her great-grandfather George B. Holstead graduated from RHS in 1941.
Junior maids are Kylie Foster and Frances Preaus. Kylie is the daughter of Erin and Blake Foster. Kylie’s mom is a graduate of the RHS Class of 1999, and her sister Kinsley graduated from RHS in 2024. Frances’ parents are Morgan and Jake Preaus. Frances’ mom is an RHS Class of 2003 graduate, and her grandfather Wayne Parkman is a graduate of the RHS Class of 1965.
Senior maids are Abby Edgerton, Paige Gipson, Shavonne Spears, and Emma Witt. Abby is the daughter of Shelly Nealy and Edwin Otis Edgerton. Abby’s mom is a graduate of the RHS Class of 1992, and her grandfather Dickie Nealy graduated from RHS in 1964. Paige is the daughter of LaToya and Etan Gipson. Paige’s sister Trinity is a graduate of the RHS Class of 2019. Shavonne’s parents are Angel Johnson and Rodney Spears II. Shavone’s brother Rodney Spears III graduated from RHS in 2015. Emma’s parents are Paige and Dallas Witt. Her mom is a graduate of the RHS Class of 1999.
Our 2024 Maid of Honor is Abigail Kate Seney. Abby is the daughter of Adrian and Caleb Seney. Abby’s mom Adrian is a 1992 graduate of Ruston High, and her sister Audrey is a graduate of the Class of 2022.
Our 2024 Homecoming Queen is Ariana Wesley. Ariana is the daughter of Generra Wesley and Mikel Key.
We cordially invite you to our Homecoming Crawl and pep rally, which will be held on Wednesday, October 30, beginning in the Boulevard at 6:30 p.m. and ending at Hoss Garrett Stadium for the pep rally at 7:00 p.m.; the assembly, which will be held Friday, November 1, at 10:00 a.m. in the Main Gym, for our formal presentation of the court to the student body; and to the varsity football game against Pineville on Friday, November 1, at 7:00 p.m. at T.L. James Field at Hoss Garrett Stadium where the court will be presented to the community at halftime.
