A complaint about an intoxicated person at a Ruston business led to the man’s arrest on a felony warrant last Monday.
Ruston Police responded to a business in the 300 block of North Trenton Street and located Nicholas Tijuan Holland, 39, of Simsboro, in the parking lot. Officers detected an overwhelming odor of alcoholic beverage, and Holland could not stand without assistance.
A records check revealed an active warrant from Third Judicial District Court for Holland on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
Holland was arrested and taken to the Lincoln Parish Detention Center. Bail had not been set at publication time.
