Burglar breaks into Dubach business

A Dubach man was arrested for simple burglary last week after he allegedly broke into a barber shop and slept inside until the next morning.

Phillip Shane Warrick, 31, of Dubach, was arrested by the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office on January 29 and booked for simple burglary of Bagwell’s Hair Styling on Main Street.

Lincoln Parish sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man who allegedly broke into a Dubach barber shop Monday night, eating crackers and drinking sodas he found there, then falling asleep on a couch until early the next day.

A deputy’s report indicated Warrick confessed to entering the shop, consuming soft drinks and crackers, and then sleeping on a couch. Video surveillance from the area revealed Warrick spent considerable time in the area.

Warrick was booked into the Lincoln Parish Detention Center. His bail amount was not available at publication time.
