A Ruston man arrested on a warrant at his residence last week is also facing drug charges after admitting he had cocaine in his socks.
The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Wesley Raymond, Jr. 52, at his McDonald Avenue residence April 5 for failure to register as a sex offender. He was also found to be in possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

When Raymond was arrested, he was asked if he had anything illegal on him. He replied he had “rocks” of cocaine in his socks. Tinfoil containing two crack cocaine rocks was found in Raymond’s right sock and one rock in wax paper was discovered in his left sock.
A “crack” smoking pipe was found in the pocket of his shorts.
Raymond was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to register as a sex offender-4th offense.
