This Week in Lincoln Parish Schools

Members of the Lincoln Prep football team help clean up during Love the Boot Week.

This week in Lincoln Parish Schools

The Lincoln Parish Journal is providing our local schools with an opportunity to submit nuggets from what’s going on at their respective schools in order to get more information out on their students, faculty and staff. The information below comes directly from those schools. Any school wishing to provide content each week can email at hannalsingh@gmail.com

Each year our eighth graders and kindergarteners share special moments together through our “Big/Little Mentor Program”.  On Friday our eighth graders visited the kindergarten classrooms, bringing their favorite books with them to read to their “littles”.  Our students look forward to these gatherings each month.

The National Junior Honor Society has started collecting supplies for 4Paws.  This supply drive will continue through April 17th.   Items that are needed include the following: leashes, harnesses. garbage bags (13 gallon and 30 gallon), bleach, regular Dawn, and dog treats. An incentive will be given to the class with the most supplies donated!
