Funeral services for Mr. Jeremy Daniel Brazzel age 44 of Ruston, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Owens Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Strain and Rev. Ronnie Dyes officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery under direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.
Jeremy loved to fish and hunt, especially squirrel and deer. He enjoyed cooking and gardening, growing hot peppers was his passion. Jeremy worked at Wal-Mart where he enjoyed working with his friends and meeting new people. He liked mowing the grass in the yard and hanging out with his furry cat-friends, Gizmo and Tigger. He was one-of-a-kind and will be missed by his good friends: Sonny Barnett, John Randal Burnham, and Chris Turner.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his father, Gary Henry, Sr.; his grandmother, Maxine Brazzel; and two uncles, Henry Brazzel, and Frankie Joe “Pop” Brazzel.
He is survived by his parents, Connie and Tony Reeves of Ruston; two brothers, Jonathan Logan Reeves of Ruston, and Kaleb D.L. Reeves of Missoula, MT; two aunts, Cathy Edwards and her husband Charlie of Ruston, and Linda Gray and her husband Ron of Dubach; uncle, Gordon Brazzel of Monroe; along with numerous cousins, and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers for Jeremy’s service are: Paula Knight, Bryan Herring, Tinker Dyes, Kaleb Bryan, Jerry Eley, Stephen Brazzel, William Barnett, Gary Briethaupt and Thomas Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Jeremy’s coworkers at Wal-Mart Store #23.
