Twenty-five graduating seniors signed letters of intent to attend eight different colleges during Choudrant High School’s signing ceremony on May 5. Surrounded by family and friends, the academically honored students announced their plans to attend their chosen institutions.
With graduation right around the corner, the class of 2025 seniors prepared for their transition into college with a signing ceremony representing their announcement of the institution they wish to attend. The students signed for a variety of universities and institutions, including Louisiana Tech University, the University of Louisiana Monroe, Northwestern State University and several more.
They accepted a variety of scholarships including academic, athletic and military. The class of 2025’s diverse scholarships and awards reflect their many talents and dedication.
“These students represent the best of Choudrant High,” Jones said. “Today we celebrate a group with dedication. This is not just a signing day; this is a legacy day. These students have set a legacy of excellence that will echo through the halls of Choudrant High School for years to come.”
Each student stood with their family as a representative from their future educational institution presented them with papers to sign their intent to attend.
