
A Mississippi man was arrested last week after he was stopped in a stolen car in Lincoln Parish.
Tydaryan Bridges, 24, of Tylertown, Miss., was arrested Sept. 2 for illegal possession of stolen things after a license plate reader picked up the stolen vehicle on Interstate 20.
A stationary license plate reader detected a blue BMW SUV traveling east on Interstate 20 about 10 p.m.. The theft was confirmed with the Hattiesburg, Miss., Police Department and deputies spotted the vehicle when it passed the I-20 Choudrant exit.
The BMW was stopped and Bridges was found to be the only occupant. According to Bridges, a friend in Mississippi let him borrow the vehicle.
The stolen SUV was impounded for Mississippi authorities and Bridges was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center.
