Texas man charged with taking all-terrain vehicle

The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested a man last Tuesday after he was allegedly spotted on a homeowner’s surveillance video stealing her all-terrain vehicle.

Brice Anthony Braxton, 44, of Houston, Texas, was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia Tuesday after he was spotted on foot on U. S. 167 in Dubach.

The victim said she saw the theft via video as her “side-by-side” ATV was taken by a man. Patrol deputies in the area saw Braxton walking through a parking lot asking for a ride to Ruston. Braxton said he knew nothing about the theft but a frisk located a glass smoking pipe commonly used to consume drugs was found on him.

A review of the video by deputies showed Braxton was wearing the same clothing as the thief. Braxton was arrested for theft of a vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
