Remembering Timmy Glen Lary

A Celebration of Life for Timmy Glen Lary, 54, of Dubach, LA will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Sharon Baptist Church in Dubach, LA.  Officiating the service will be Bro. Jeff Roberts and Bro Carrol Holmes.  Interment will follow in Sharon Buckner Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in Ruston, LA.

A visitation will be prior to the service at 1:00 PM until service time at the church.

Tim was born on August 19, 1971, in Bernice, LA to Ed and Ann Scriber Lary. He went to be with Jesus Wednesday, January 28, 2026, after a short illness. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church where he enjoyed the fellowship of the members.

He was a graduate of Choudrant High School. Tim spent the majority of his free time outdoors either hunting or fishing, but most of all fishing. He enjoyed going to the Scriber Camp and being with family.

Tim is survived by his parents Ed and Ann Lary of Ruston, LA;  two sons, Blade Lary (Ashlen) of Ruston, LA, and Davin Lary of Ruston, LA; one grandchild Thade and one on the way; a brother Todd Lary (Tiffany) of Ruston, LA; niece, Hunter Lary Johnston (Andrew) of Winnfield, LA; nephews, Fisher Lary (Destiny) of Dubach, LA, and River Lary (Kassie) of Dubach, LA, great nieces and nephew,  Everly Johnston, Reed Johnston, Haddie Johnston, Birdie Lary, Bambi Lary, Briar Lary, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins. Thanks to David Rhodes who was a special friend and cousin to Tim. They hunted together and went to numerous LA Tech baseball games.

 He also had a spoiled little pet, Sydney Lary.

A special thank you to North Louisiana Medical Center and Dr. Cody Blackwelder, ICU nurses Josh, Jared, and Aliana.

In lieu of flowers, the Lary’s request a donation to the Sharon Buckner Cemetery Fund, 2769 Hwy 152, Dubach, LA 71235.

Pallbearers will be Todd Lary, Blade Lary, Davin Lary, Fisher Lary, River Lary, Andrew Johnston, David Rhodes and Glenn Scriber.
