Wondering what happened to Dr. Jim Eaton?
He’s still here in Ruston, doing what he’s has always done: taking great care of patients.
When the Vision Center closed, one of the questions we began hearing almost immediately was, “Where did Dr. Eaton go?” Many people assumed he had retired.
He didn’t.
For years, Dr. Jim Eaton has been a familiar face to families throughout Ruston and the surrounding communities. Patients know him for his easygoing personality, his kindness, and the time he takes with each person who walks through the door. We’re happy to share that Dr. Eaton is continuing to care for patients right here in Ruston and is now seeing patients exclusively at Haik Humble Eye Center’s Ruston location.
As many already know, Ruston Eye & Vision, founded by Dr. Brad Anders, has also become part of this exciting new chapter. While the name on the building has changed, much of what patients have come to know and appreciate remains the same. Dr. Anders continues to care for patients in Ruston, many familiar staff members are still there, and we’re also pleased to welcome Dr. Kristina Stanfield, who is continuing to care for her patients from the Ruston office as well.
The response from the community has been overwhelmingly kind, and we are truly grateful for the warm welcome we’ve received. Whether you’re looking to reconnect with Dr. Eaton, continue your care with Dr. Anders or Dr. Stanfield, or establish care for the first time, we’re honored to serve you.
For many of us, eye care isn’t just a profession—it’s a purpose. It’s helping someone read a bedtime story again, recognize the face of someone they love, drive safely, or simply enjoy the beauty around them.
