Lincoln Parish deputies arrested a man last week during the execution of a search warrant at a Madden Road residence.
Trever Lane Holloway, 28, was arrested July 2 as deputies were executing a search warrant.
When another person on the property told them a man was inside a room at the residence, deputies gave numerous loud verbal commands for the man to exit, including calling him by name, and warned that a search warrant was being executed. After one of the commands, deputies could hear movement inside the residence. They entered the residence and found Holloway hiding in a closet with a black backpack on his arm.
The report states a clear plastic bag containing suspected marijuana was found in Holloway’s front right pocket. Deputies also searched the backpack and found a glass pipe commonly associated with methamphetamine use and a syringe that appeared used.

Holloway told deputies the marijuana was his and said the pipe and syringe were from a friend as a gift, according to the report.
Deputies learned Holloway had two active bench warrants for failure to appear in court. The report also states Holloway had been banned from the property by the homeowner.
Holloway was arrested for resisting an officer, entering or remaining after being forbidden, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and the two bench for failing to appear in court on charges of remaining after being forbidden and simple criminal damage to property.
